The stealth take down mechanics is what makes these games stand out from the crowd. If you just want some turn based combat, i would suggest 'Showgunners' that is discounted right now and to wait for discounts for these games, i only bought Lamplighters early because the regional pricing made it cheap on preorder, i would never buy it at the current price (they adjusted the price on release and its now 5 times more expensive than when i purchased it) what nonsense. I would not have high expectations for further patching for either game given that it seems neither dev is very happy with the sale numbersīoth games are flawed, i would lean Lamplighters because Miasma feels like the game hates you and does not want you to have fun. Voice overs and story seems tighter in Lamplighters but i havent finished either of the games It also has no sustainable way to top up your hp/mana so you can get stuck without healing items and no way to get some and you often cant use skills because you have no way to recharge mana Miasma is very stingy with recovery and currency. Miasma has a horrible cool down mechanic where your skills are not reset between encounters unless you play in video game journo difficulty
